30-Minute Virtual Onboarding Session

This is an optional virtual session where new clients can work with office administration to set up their client portal, complete intake forms, and download our client portal app, should they want the additional support. They also have the option to meet the supervising Clinical Christian Counseling Doctor and ask any questions that they may have directly with the doctor. This session is ended with a prayer upon the client's comfort.

90 Minute New Client Session (In person or Virtual)

The 90-minute new client session can be completed in both in-person and virtual settings. This is where the counselor meets their client, shares the client's APS Temperament Survey results, and further assesses the client's concerns and growth goals. The client is also able to get to know their counselor better and is encouraged to ask questions. This session begins and ends with prayer, guided by the client's direction and prayer requests.

Counseling Session

(Virtually or In-Person) This session begins and ends with prayer, guided by the client's direction and prayer requests. The counselor can start this session up to 15 minutes early. The client is encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early, as the session will have a hard stop at the scheduled time to best respect everyone's schedule. It is common for the counselor to have a visible stop clock in both virtual and in-person sessions so that the conversation can be guided wisely with the time in mind.
