No. Our services are open to individuals from all backgrounds. Our Approach is Christian sensitive with the incorporation of prayer and the use of biblical principles.

Christian counseling uses the same evidence-based therapeutic methods as traditional counseling, but it also intentionally integrates faith through prayer, Scripture, and a Christian worldview when appropriate. This approach treats the whole person—emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually—while traditional counseling generally focuses on psychological and emotional health without a faith-based framework.

We do not accept insurance. We have options for those who are not able to pay full service for their counseling sessions by providing financial assistance to cover some of the cost depending on the amount that the client can afford.

All of our counselors are clergy either by ordination or commission. Our counselors carry the title as pastoral counselor as they demonstrate their commitment to a devoted lifestyle that honors God. Our Pastoral Counselors are trained to pray with each client during their session, use the Word of God as a standard and a basis of guidance as they support our clients through challenging situation. The Pastoral Counselors are prepared to give out scriptural homework that can better support the client as requested. The counseling model that our Pastoral Counselors are trained and certified in is called APS Temperament Model. The APS Temperament Model is a Christian-sensitive tool used to help people better understand how God uniquely designed their personality, emotions, communication style, and relational needs.

Financial assistance is available to help cover the difference between our standard session fee and the amount a client is able to afford. Through the generosity of our sponsors and donors, we are able to offer reduced rates to qualifying clients while ensuring our counselors are fairly compensated for their time and services.

Clients may express interest in financial assistance during the intake process by notifying our team and completing a brief Financial Assistance Interest Form. A decision will be communicated within one business day.

If a client is approved and funding is available, the approved rate will apply for the duration of the agreed-upon counseling plan. If a client is approved but funding is not currently available, they will be placed on a waiting list, and we will actively work with sponsors and donors to secure the necessary funds. If a client is not approved, they will receive an email within one business day outlining the reason for the decision, along with information about alternative options.
